(Dan Tri) – Tank 300, Suzuki Jimny, Ford Stormtrak or Land Cruiser Prado are prominent names, likely to launch to Vietnamese customers in 2024.

Right at the beginning of 2024, many `hot` car models are scheduled to return to Vietnam, promising an exciting year for the market.

GWM Tank 300

Haval Vietnam representative recently informed the media that the company will bring a number of new products this year.

Experts predict that the Tank 300 will likely be imported in complete units from Thailand, similar to the Haval H6 model launched to Vietnamese customers (Photo: cars.co.za).

In fact, Tank 300 is a product of Great Wall Motor Group – the parent company of the Haval brand.

Despite its Chinese origin, the Tank 300 promises to attract the attention of a group of users who like to `travel` and are passionate about traveling.

The dimensions of the Tank 300 are equal to the C-SUV models with length, width and height of 4,760mm, 1,930mm and 1,903mm respectively;

Equipment and number of versions of the Tank 300 for the Vietnamese market have not been revealed.

So when returning to Vietnam, Tank 300 will not be cheap.

Accordingly, the Tank 300 only has a hybrid engine option in the land of the Golden Temple, so the selling price will not be as `soft` as having a purely gasoline engine.

It is unclear what changes the Tank 300 will have when returning to Vietnam to suit the market.

In January, the company adjusted its listed price for this model, lowering it by 110 million VND to 986 million VND.

Ford Ranger Stormtrak

Ford Vietnam has confirmed that it will launch the Ranger Stormtrak, through a video posted on the official fanpage.

This matches the information shared by sales consultants.

It is unclear whether the Ford Ranger Stormtrak will be imported completely from Thailand or assembled domestically similar to current variants (Photo: Ford).

The vehicle’s configuration for the Vietnamese market has not been revealed.

In addition to color options, the biggest difference between Ranger Stormtrak and Wildtrak is the roof rack and large sports bar that can slide in the rear trunk, but it is unclear whether they will appear when the car returns to Vietnam.

The interior of the Ford Ranger Stormtrak is almost identical to the Wildtrak, just changing the embroidery thread color to red orange, and changing the logo.

Ranger Stormtrak still uses a 12-inch vertical entertainment screen but has a larger electronic instrument cluster than Wildtrak, up to 12.4 inches (Photo: Ford).

Powering the Ford Ranger Stormtrak is still a 2.0L twin-turbocharged diesel engine, combined with a 10-speed automatic transmission, creating a maximum capacity of 210 horsepower and maximum torque of 210 horsepower.

In addition to the Ranger Stormtrak, sales consultants also revealed the appearance of the Ford Everest Platinum.

Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2024

Toyota Vietnam’s sales consultants simultaneously shared that the new generation of Land Cruiser Prado (250 Series) will be delivered in the middle of this year.

This information has not been confirmed by the Japanese car company, but experts believe that this possibility is very high because cars in Vietnam have not had major upgrades for a long time, reducing their competitiveness.

In the new generation, the design of the Land Cruiser Prado is completely transformed from the inside out, reminiscent of off-road vehicles of the past.

The sales consultant said that the car’s wheels will be upgraded from 19 inches to 20 inches, the headlights will have an automatic adaptive feature;

According to the dealer, this model is expected to be equipped with a new engine when it returns home;

The car’s safety equipment will still have the Toyota Safety Sense technology package but has been upgraded from version 2.0 to 3.0, adding additional features such as: smart automatic throttle, lane keeping assist, blind spot warning,

The supply of Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2024 will likely not be abundant because the car is imported from Japan, easily leading to the phenomenon of `beer with peanuts` or `price gouging` at dealers, similar to the Land Cruiser elder (

The selling price of the car has not been revealed.

Suzuki Jimny

The Japanese car company has been hinted at since the end of 2023, but currently, this model does not have an official launch date.

The Suzuki Jimny has an eye-catching cross-country style that attracts Vietnamese customers because it is reminiscent of the Mercedes-AMG G63 (Photo: Suzuki dealer).

A user who registered for the Suzuki Jimny (2-tone exterior) in the Southern region shared that the car has a listed price of 799 million VND.

The figure of 799 million VND matches the price announced by dealers.

In addition, some dealers also offer customers to buy Jimny `customized` in the style of the G63 at a price of 999 million VND, equivalent to the high list price of a C-SUV model like the Mazda CX-5 (999 million VND).

With a high price and unique design, the Suzuki Jimny is considered to be `picky` with customers.

In general, this model is aimed at users who are willing to play, willing to spend, and passionate about cross-country style.
