(Dan Tri) – Yonhap News reported that famous Korean actor Lee Sun Kyun was recently found dead in a car in a park.
Hodu&U Entertainment – Lee Sun Kyun’s management company – admitted that they lost contact while rumors about his death were spreading.
According to the Korean police and fire department, on December 27, a man was found unconscious in a car near Waryong Park in Jongno Gu, Seoul (South Korea).

Many Korean newspapers said that the police confirmed this information and are investigating the reason why the Korean star died.
The incident became one of the biggest scandals in the Korean entertainment industry in 2023. When the incident broke, Lee Sun Kyun was also said to have had an extramarital relationship with a woman.
At the end of October, Lee Sun Kyun presented herself at the Nonhyeon Police Station, Seoul (South Korea) to take testimony and conduct a drug test.
In front of the police station and the media, Lee Sun Kyun bowed her head and apologized: `I sincerely apologize for getting caught up in the scandal and disappointing everyone. Above all, once again I bow my head and admit my mistake.`
When asked about the drug use allegation, the Korean star answered, `I will participate in honest investigation cooperation. I also feel sorry because my family has suffered so much because of this.`
Both rapid and in-depth test results showed that Lee Sun Kyun was negative for drugs.

Since November, the actor born in 1975 proactively asked to withdraw from the `blockbuster` project No way out and was accepted by the producer.

The drug investigation scandal also affected the Korean actor’s marriage.
Lee Sun Kyun and his wife have been together for nearly 20 years and have two sons together.
Since her husband got involved in a scandal, Jeon Hye Jin has not commented.
