(Dan Tri) – Imported car models with discounts of hundreds of millions of dong are mainly picky products, difficult to compete with competitors in the same segment.

Under the impact of the economic recession, consumption of the Vietnamese automobile market remains gloomy in the last months of the year, which is the annual peak season.

This pressure forces imported car models to follow through with promotional programs.

Haval H6

Located in the C-size crossover segment, Haval H6 is quite `sink` after its launch in early August. The main reason is because the brand is new, and there is only one hybrid version, with an increased suggested retail price.

In October, model H6 received registration fee support of up to 120 million VND from the distributor and was given a maintenance service incentive card worth 50 million VND.

Subaru Outback and Forester

Subaru Outback is one of the few car models on the market that still has 2022 model year cars (VIN 2022) left at the dealership.

Sales consultants said that Outback VIN 2022 cars are being offered for sale at a price of 1,673 billion VND, a decrease of 296 million VND compared to the listed price.

Subaru Outback VIN 2023 is listed at 2,099 billion VND, 130 million VND more expensive than VIN 2022. Thus, if you choose an older car, users will save a total of 426 million VND, enough to buy a car.

Compared to VIN 2022, the VIN 2023 version has a number of upgrades, including: new 18-inch wheels, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connection screen, 11 Harman Kardon speakers with subwoofer, USB-C connection port and USB-C connection port.

As for the Subaru Forester, the promotion program for this car model continues to increase in October. According to the distributor’s announcement, the Forester is reduced by 220 million VND in the standard 2.0i-L version, the actual selling price is lowered.

The 2.0i-L EyeSight variant is reduced by up to 280 million VND, down to 819 million VND.

However, the actual selling price of the Volkswagen Tiguan decreased even more than the above incentive.

Although the Volkswagen Virtus is not being offered a promotion by the distributor, at the dealer, the selling price of this car model is reduced by up to 300 million VND in the standard Elegance version, down to 699 million VND.

After applying incentives, Volkswagen’s actual price continues to be the most expensive in the B-class sedan segment. The high price is still on par with some C-SUV models such as Mazda CX-5 (from 749 million VND) or Hyundai Tucson (from 769 million VND).
