(Dan Tri) – Erling Haaland is one of many European stars at risk of having to sit at home and watch Euro 2024 on TV when their national team fails to win tickets to Germany next year.
The Euro 2024 qualifiers are about to end, but some famous European national teams have not yet won a spot in the tournament in Germany.
Before the final match of the Euro 2024 qualifiers this November, many national teams such as Germany, Belgium, France, Portugal, Spain, Scotland, Turkey, Austria and England have officially won tickets.
These teams are preparing to have their final matches in the extremely important qualifying round in November. But if the results are not as expected, some of the world’s top players may be absent.
Erling Haaland – Norway
Striker Erling Haaland missed the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and once again faces being absent from Euro 2024. The Norwegian striker has won countless titles after breaking many scoring records for Man City.

Haaland continues to show prolific form this season for Man City, but he needs to be at his best to help Norway qualify for the Euro 2024 play-offs when they face
Martin Odegaard – Norway
Arsenal’s captain is also in the same situation as Haaland, having missed the 2022 World Cup because Norway failed to qualify.
Odegaard has become one of the standout players in the Premier League since he moved to Emirates Stadium from Real Madrid.

Odegaard and Haaland will have to do their best with the goal of helping Norway defeat Scotland to hold off Georgia, the team ranked right behind them in Group A with 3 points less but playing one less match.
Goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma – Italy
The Italian team, like Norway, cannot be present at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar despite winning Euro 2021.
Donnarumma is considered one of the best goalkeepers in the world, having started for AC Milan and PSG when he was just 24 years old.

This goalkeeper was Italy’s hero at Euro 2020 when he helped his team win the championship by defeating England in a penalty shootout in the final at Wembley.
Luka Modric – Croatia
Modric regularly attended international tournaments throughout his great career.
However, the Real Madrid star is in danger of missing out on Euro 2024 as his side are currently behind Wales in Group D.

Alexander Isak – Sweden
Alexander Isak has become one of the most prolific strikers in the Premier League since moving to Newcastle from Real Sociedad.
However, the Swedish player and his teammates will have to fight in the play-off round to win the right to participate in the tournament.

But first to be in the play-offs, Sweden needs to win against Azerbaijan and Estonia this November.
Robert Lewandowski – Poland
Lewandowski is one of the best strikers in Europe, having played for teams like Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and now Barcelona.
However, the striker has never really reached his best form in an international tournament.
