(Dan Tri) – For the first time, there is an electric version of the i7 xDrive60, equipped with interesting technologies and a `super huge` 31-inch screen, the new BMW 7-Series promises to cause a lot of discomfort for the Mercedes S-

The controversial split headlight design of the X7 model has been carried over to the 7-Series.

Although the EV electric version is the highlight of the new generation BMW 7-Series, the internal combustion engine versions are not forgotten;

Specifically, the 740i standard version has a price in the US of 93,300 USD, equipped with a 3.0L turbocharged I6 engine using 48V mild-hybrid technology, producing 375 horsepower and 540 Nm of torque.

Next is the 760i xDrive version priced at 113,600 USD, equipped with a full-time 4-wheel drive system, V8 engine, mild-hybrid technology, for 536 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque.

Now, the BMW 7-Series no longer has a V12 engine, meaning the i7 xDrive60 electric version priced at $119,300 will become the highest version.

Next year, the BMW 7-Series will have two more versions: 750e xDrive and M760e xDrive.

Meanwhile, the 2023 M760e xDrive also uses a plug-in hybrid powertrain like the 750e xDrive, but the gasoline engine has a capacity of 375 horsepower and 520 Nm of torque.

In some markets, the 2023 BMW 7-Series also has a 735i version using a 6-cylinder, turbocharged gasoline engine, 3.0L capacity but only 268 horsepower and 400 Nm.

Increased size, more spacious interior

The new generation 2023 BMW 7-Series is 126mm longer than before.

Like the X7, the 7-Series model is equipped with a large kidney-shaped grille, while the headlights are extremely slim.

The side of the 2023 BMW 7-Series also has some interesting design changes, such as the door handle sunk into the body of the car and the thick chrome-plated brace on the C-pillar is quite eye-catching.

In the cockpit, the car is equipped with a curved screen on the dashboard, combining a digital dashboard with a touch-screen information and entertainment screen.

On the dashboard there is also an Interaction Bar touch strip, which both acts as an interior border light and displays a virtual button system to adjust many vehicle features.

`Mobile theater` in the back seat

A 31-inch screen is optional equipment, creating a `mobile theater` space for the rear seat compartment.

For many 7-Series owners, the cockpit equipment is not as important as the back seat, because that is their place.

When the passenger activates Theater Mode, the 31-inch screen is lowered, the sunshades are raised, the seats recline and the interior lighting is adjusted to create a cinema-like atmosphere.

Rear seat passengers can use the 5.5-inch Touch Command digital control panel that looks like a small smartphone mounted on the door to control features such as transferring calls to listening through the speaker on the headrest if the audio system

More comfortable, more modern

The standard air suspension and active shock absorbers will help create smoothness for the car in both the front and rear seats.

BMW proudly introduces that the new generation 7-Series has hands-free driving at speeds of up to 130 km/h if equipped with the Driving Assistance Professional Package.

It is expected that the 2023 BMW 7-Series will be available on the US market later this year.
