(Dan Tri) – Toyota Veloz and Kia Carens are given a 50% registration fee incentive according to the Government’s Decree because they are domestically assembled cars, but their sales are still far behind the imported Mitsubishi Xpander model.
July marks the time when the policy to support 50% of registration fees for domestically produced and assembled cars takes effect.
The total sales of the remaining car models in the small MPV segment in July were not equal to the Mitsubishi Xpander alone (Photo: MMV).
Specifically, Xpander sales in July reached 2,586 units, doubling compared to the previous month.
Cumulatively in the first 7 months of the year, the Japanese brand has sold 10,568 Xpander units.
The market is more vibrant
Toyota Veloz Cross continues to be the second best-selling product in the segment, but consumption decreased by 40% compared to the previous month, reaching 522 vehicles.
Third place in the small MPV segment once again belongs to Kia Carens.
In July, on average, 10 Honda BR-Vs were delivered to Vietnamese customers every day (Photo: Nguyen Lam).
Honda BR-V launched in Vietnam market on July 4.
However, actual results show that BR-V is quite `attractive`.
The main factor leading to this number is the big promotion program from the dealer.
The ranking of the remaining products remains unchanged.
