(Dan Tri) – The 2024 Kia Seltos that is about to launch for Vietnamese customers is just a mid-life upgrade, having been introduced in Korea since 2022.
Kia Vietnam’s official fanpage posted a video revealing the appearance of the new Seltos.
Some sources say the Kia Seltos 2024 will be introduced to Vietnamese customers in April or May (Screenshot).
Kia Seltos in Vietnam was upgraded in the context that this car model is under pressure from competitors, making it difficult to regain its leading position even though the selling price is among the lowest in the segment (604-719 million VND).
For example, in the first 2 months of the year, Vietnamese customers still paid a lot of attention to the Honda HR-V in the B and B+ SUV class.

In addition to the low price factor, the current Kia Seltos is somewhat `outdated` compared to competitors in the same segment, because it was launched in Vietnam in 2020.
The comfort equipment of this model is at a sufficient level, but in the safety category, Seltos loses to Hyundai Creta, Toyota Yaris Cross or Honda HR-V, without an active safety system, while these technologies

Therefore, in this mid-life upgrade, Kia Seltos is expected to improve consumption and once again regain its leading position.
In terms of design, the overall look of Seltos remains the same in the new version.

The engine options of the Kia Seltos 2024 will likely not change, because it is only a mid-life upgrade, including a naturally aspirated gasoline engine, 1.6L capacity, or a 1.4L turbocharged engine.
Safety equipment is the biggest upgrade on the 2024 Kia Seltos and is also expected to not be cut with the car launched for sale in Vietnam.
