Regarding the Tor-M2DT air defense missile, this is the second `Arctic Beast` complex that the Russian military lost in Ukraine in just a few days.

Mounted on the base chassis of the DT-30PM tracked military vehicles, the Tor-M2DT missile complex is nicknamed the `Arctic beast` when it can fight in temperatures down to -50 degrees Celsius.

This missile was upgraded by engineers at the Izhevsk Kupol electromechanical factory from the famous Tor-M2 air defense missile system with the purpose of protecting forces and important defense facilities of the Russian army in the region.

According to some sources, the Russian military currently owns only 12 Tor-M2DT missile complexes.
