(Dan Tri) – In the Euro 2024 qualifying round taking place on the evening of November 21, France drew 2-2 with Greece, the Netherlands won 6-0 against Gibraltar and Croatia won tickets to Euro 2024 after a 1-0 victory over Armenia.

The Netherlands found the opening goal thanks to 24-year-old midfielder Calvin Stengs in the 4th minute. Conceding a goal too early, Gibraltar almost lost spirit and made many mistakes in defense.

The French team soon won tickets to Euro 2024 in Germany, but they needed a victory to maintain their winning record in Group B qualifying.

However, Greece also had a good match, they equalized 1-1 in the 56th minute thanks to a beautiful volley from the edge of the penalty area by captain Tasos Bakasetas that goalkeeper Brice Samba had no chance to block.
Just 5 minutes later, Fotis Ioannidis put Greece ahead 2-1 from an assist from Dimitris Giannoulis.
The French team could have claimed three points in stoppage time, when Kingsley Coman’s kick appeared to cross the goal line before bouncing back against the post and flying out.
Coach Deschamps’ team finished the Euro 2024 Group B qualifying round with 22 points/8 matches and won the top spot in the group.

In Group D of Euro 2024 qualifying, Croatia won a valuable 1-0 victory over Armenia at home.

This result helped Croatia (16 points) win second place in Group D and follow Turkey to win tickets to Euro 2024. Wales (13 points) sadly finished third and were eliminated after drawing 1-1 with Turkey in the match.
