Musiala only made his debut for Bayern Munich’s first team in June, coming on as a substitute for Bayern Munich in a 3-1 win over SC Freiburg in the Bundesliga.
This potential attacking midfielder joined Bayern Munich from Chelsea’s youth academy in the summer of 2019, to replace club legend Thomas Muller.
In early June, Musiala also scored his first two goals for Bayern Munich’s youth team in Germany’s third division, 3 Liga.
Although Musiala is only 45 days short of the record set by David Alaba, his impressive achievement has been widely shared on Bayern Munich’s social networking sites.
Joined from Chelsea’s training facility
Despite Chelsea’s desperate efforts to keep Musiala at Stamford Bridge on a long-term contract, the Stuttgart-born youngster signed for Bayern Munich in 2019 on a five-year contract.
He has followed the trend of young players in England leaving the UK for Germany in search of first team football, including Jadon Sancho and Reiss Nelson.
British or German player? Although born in Germany, Musiala once played for the Three Lions at youth level.
He then continued to appear in the U16 team, scoring three goals and two assists in nine matches.
