(Dan Tri) – President Donald Trump once again criticized China’s trade practices and warned that negotiations could become more difficult.

In a series of comments on the social network Twitter on July 30, President Trump warned China not to wait until his first term ends before signing a trade agreement, because if he is re-elected
“China’s (economy) is very bad, the worst in 27 years, they should start buying agricultural products from us, but there is no sign that they will do that.
“My team is negotiating with them, but China always changes the deal at the last minute to benefit.
“However, the problem is that if they wait, and if I win, the deal they reach will be much tougher than what we are negotiating, or there will be no deal at all.
President Trump’s above statements were made in the context of US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer traveling to Shanghai to meet with Chinese counterparts to resume trade negotiations.
This is not the first time President Trump has expressed disappointment with China.
After meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Japan late last month, President Trump announced that China had agreed to buy more US agricultural products.
According to the truce agreement, the US temporarily suspended plans to impose tariffs on $300 billion of Chinese imports.
Beijing has rejected President Trump’s statement, affirming that China still buys American agricultural products.
